Do you offer tours of the academy and option to meet the Director/Teachers?

We do! In fact, we love it when people want to visit! We are proud of our facility and the incredible staff that work here. A tour does not need to be scheduled, for us to be your best host, but we do appreciate visits to be between 9:00am - 12:00pm or 3:30pm - 5:00pm. You must register at the front desk and we will escort you in to the facility.

Do you offer a referral program?

We do! We are excited when parents 'Refer-A-Friend' and if that referral turns into an enrollment, the parent receives $100 in referral rewards! There's no limit to referrals! What is your educational philosophy?

At GymStars Elite Learning Academy, we believe in creating a nurturing and dynamic environment where every child thrives. We give unconditional respect, prioritize safety, and clearly communicate expectations to build trust and consistency. We catch kids doing things right, discipline with natural consequences, and celebrate daily successes to foster confidence and growth. Our team teaches with creativity and variety, provides daily challenges, and allows for constant movement to keep learning engaging. Through it all, we lead with enthusiasm and model love, empathy, and compassion every step of the way.

How you handle behavioral issues in the classroom setting?

Great Question! We take a proactive, positive-guidance approach to behavior. First, we set clear, age-appropriate expectations and model the respectful words and actions we want children to use. Most of the day is structured to prevent issues before they arise—plenty of choice, opportunities for movement, and engaging, hands-on activities. When a child struggles, we gently redirect, label feelings, and coach problem-solving . We highlight and praise positive behaviors more often than we correct, because children repeat what earns attention. If a limit is crossed, we use natural or logical consequences that relate directly to the behavior (e.g., if blocks are thrown, the block area closes for a short time) and always ensure the child has a fresh start afterward. Safety is non-negotiable; if a behavior endangers anyone, we intervene immediately and calmly. We document significant incidents and keep an open line of communication with parents so we can partner on consistent strategies and celebrate progress together.

Do you provide meals or snacks?

Our preschool does not provide meals or snacks in order to accommodate each child's unique dietary needs, allergies, and family preferences. This approach allows parents to have full control over what their child eats and ensures that children are served food they enjoy and can safely consume. It also helps us focus our resources on providing a high-quality learning environment and individualized care. We do provide snack and meal time in a non-pressured, relaxed environment to support healthy eating habits.

Do you have an outside play area?

You bet we do! Having an outdoor play area is incredibly important for young children because it supports whole-child development in ways indoor environments can’t always match. Outdoor play is essential for children’s development. With the space, equipment and our teacher's creativity, outdoor play builds physical strength, supports emotional regulation, and encourages creativity, problem-solving, and social skills. Time outside helps kids burn energy, connect with nature, and learn through active, hands-on experiences that can’t be replicated indoors. In summer we incorporate safe water play as well!
